YPAC’s ultimate goal is to get people connected in our community, and we accomplish this in three major areas: professional, social and civic.
Our monthly luncheon speaker series is a great place to meet people professionally, and we offer a whole variety of topics and speakers. It's typically the last Friday of every month; so you can mark your whole year's calendar.
Our monthly after-hours events are designed especially for those looking for some social connections. We typically have those events on the third Thursday of the month, but, that's not a hard and fast rule.
Civic connections include opportunities to volunteer or sign up for specific fundraising campaigns: in the past we’ve participating in the Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon, the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk, and other annual campaigns. We try to select one local nonprofit to support per quarter as a group, but we offer notices and announcements to the group for other opportunities within the community.
We do take membership dues and offer discounts and special events/offers for our members; however, membership is not required to participate in any of our events. For example, we had a members-only breakfast where the Under Secretary of Economic Affairs spoke on October 21st. Additionally, our monthly luncheons are $12 for members and $15 for non-members…
I appreciate your interest in YPAC, and I hope we can provide the kind of resource you need in the community. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance to you.
