YPAC is a group of young, active, civic-minded professionals who have a clear vision of Chattanooga’s future as a great place to live, work and play.
So why join YPAC? We provide a great balance for a young professional’s life. From professional to social to philanthropic, we’ll host events and activities to target a wide-range of interests including arts and culture, networking and professional development, social and philanthropic activities to provide something for everyone.
Before proceeding any further, let’s address who makes up YPAC. If you think we're a bunch of bankers and lawyers, you're right. But we're also computer programmers, teachers, account execs, writers, entrepreneurs and much more. Additionally, we chose the term “Young” for our organization to indicate and to give the perception of a group of active, ambitious, involved, forward-thinking individuals. We’re less concerned about what you do and how old you are and more concerned with what you’re willing to contribute to our community, our organization and our lives. We do have a minimum age requirement of 21.
As for what we do… we like to keep our options open. You can count on regular networking activities, community-service opportunities, and cultural and social events. But there's nothing standard about the activities we choose:
- Local industry leaders featured at networking events
- Martini tasting at Foodworks
-
Whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River
-
Art gallery tour to welcome the New Year
-
Junior Achievement’s Bowl-A-Thon
-
Girls, Inc. Kickball Tournament
Join YPAC for professional development opportunities, to meet new people, or build a better Chattanooga.
